Protection system for a vehicle luggage compartment

The partition for an estate wagon comprises a net (6) which can be pulled out from a housing (5). This is mounted on swiveling arms (8) attached to the car bodywork which allow the net to be positioned above the backrest of the rear seat when this is in either the lowered or the raised position.
