DRIVE
February 12, 2003
The crankcase has upward and outward directed screw bolts with associated punched channels (17) with screw thread inside the outer walls (6,6') of the crankcase (1). Channels, side edges (18) of the neighboring bearing cover (11), and edges (19) of the thrust blocks (7) on either side of the cover, form pressure compensation apertures (13,13'). The channels are formed by casting within the outer crankcase walls.
