Air intake system for internal combustion engines

The induction channel system has several air induction channels formed from two parts (18, 20). The second parts can be turned to vary the length of the channel. The turning parts are fitted in recesses (44) in the fixed parts. A sliding element is fitted in the recess so that it lies against one radial resting surface and one axial resting surface.
