Adapter for a high pressure injection pump for a direct injection piston combustion engine

The invention relates to a holder (1) for fastening assemblies, preferably fuel high-pressure injection pumps (7), to cylinder heads of reciprocating piston internal combustion engines. In doing so, the holder replaces one or more camshaft bearing bridges and thus enables simple assembly and simple operation of a fuel high-pressure injection pump (7).
