The air-cooled heat exchanger system for a car comprises a radiator (1) and a carbon dioxide gas cooler (2) for the air conditioner. The carbon dioxide feed pipe (4) is designed to act as a heat exchanger and is in heat-transferring contact with the radiator to pre-cool the carbon dioxide.
