Device for locking an engine on an aircraft
DRIVE
February 5, 2003
The mounting system (10) between an engine (14) and a pylon (12) fixed to an aircraft structure consists of two fitting brackets (18a, 18b) joined together and fixed to the pylon, connected by pairs of links (20a, 20b, 22b) to lugs (36) on the engine housing. One set of links is straight and the other is curved in a boomerang shape, with two bracket fixings. The lower ends of the links are fitted to axles passing through the lugs.
