Safety device for a motor vehicle
DRIVE
January 29, 2003
The safety device (2) has at least one aperture (3) for gas inflow and outflow, and a means of varying the flow resistance of this aperture. The flow resistance value is set dependent on the pressure at a specific point of the safety device, so that the flow resistance of the aperture is increased as the internal pressure rises and decreased as it falls.
