Stop lamp for vehicles

A stop lamp (3) for a vehicle comprises a substrate (6), a plurality of LED chips (11), at least one connecting wire (10) and a cover (12) made. The substrate (6) has a plurality of openings (15) and a surface (6a) that faces towards a panel (4) of a rear window of the vehicle. The substrate (6) has an arrangement (5) for fixing to an inner surface of the panel (4). One LED chip (11) is arranged in each opening (15) on the substrate (6). The connecting wires (10) are arranged on the substrate (6) and electrically connect the LED chips (11) to one another and to a voltage source. The cover (12) is transparent and provided to protect the LED chips (11).
