A bicycle carrier includes two rods (10) each having a clamping member (11) connected to a first end thereof and a support rod extending from a second end of each of the two rods. Two stretch plates (30,300) are pivotally connected to the two rods (10) and a connection member (51) is pivotally connected to the two stretch plates (30,300). Each of the two stretch plates (30,300) has an aperture and the two respective apertures are in alignment with each other when stretching the two rods (10) open wide. An operation plate is pivotally connected to the connection member (51) and has a locking member (50) which extends through the connection member (51) and the two respective apertures.
