Transmission device

The device has a longitudinal automatic transmission (14) with output shaft (13) facing the rear of the vehicle. The shaft is in drive connection with an input shaft (11) of a front axle drive (15), via the driven shaft (12) of a side drive (16) and a prop-shaft (10). At least one of the shafts corresponding with the prop-shaft is pivoted towards the output shaft, to reduce the prop-shaft angle. At least one toothed gear (17,18,19) of the side drive is conical.
