The present invention discloses an electric driving unit comprising a casing with a motor storage space, an electric motor and a speed reducer, wherein the electric motor and the speed reducer are supported by and arranged coaxially to each other in the casing, and wherein a controlling means for controlling the electric motor is provided being disposed close to the electric motor within the motor storage space formed in the casing, and an electric vehicle with such an electric driving unit.
