Vehicle seat positioned on the floor

The car seat has a jointed lower frame (3) on which a swiveling back rest (7) is mounted. This allows it to be moved down to form a table. The whole seat may be folded down close to the car floor. The lower frame has a front section (15) and a diagonal reinforcing strut (31).
