Swivel caster

The invention relates to a swivel caster suitable to be mounted in a transportation system which caster mainly consists of a wheel secured on a shaft by means of a rolling bearing, said shaft being attached near its ends to the legs of a swivel fork which body or supporting-element is connected with the casing of a rolling bearing which casing can be mounted on said transportation system, said system mainly consists of a supporting platform composed of two plates an upper one from which said caster wheel partly extends and a bottom on which said bearing casing can be mounted. According to the invention said swivel caster (8) being completely mounted in a device (5) which opening has a rim (6) that can be connected on said upper plate (3) such that e.g. replacement of a swivel caster will be carried out only by removing said device (5) from said upper platform.
