Drive assembly and drive system for vehicles

An axle body (32) forms a structural unit (3) with wheel axle elements (31a,31b). Assigned to each of two wheels (2a,2b), electric drive motors (4a,4b) function as a driving motor regarding traction and have rotors linked directly to wheel hubs (5a,5b) or via further transmission elements. Power electronic components for the electric drive motors have DC voltage changers (12a,12b).
