The invention relates to a support bearing (1) for a strut (19), comprising two support elements (7, 9) between which a rolling bearing (2) is inserted. The rolling bodies (6) of the rolling bearing (2) are arranged exclusively in a zone of the rolling bearing (2) that is acted upon by force from the helical compression spring (8).
