Bicycle support for transporting bicycles inside a vehicle

DRIVE December 11, 2002
Source
The front wheel of the bicycle is removed and the lower ends of the forks (4) are inserted into the holding element (3) positioned on top of a retainer block (5), where they are fixed with a quick tensioning clamp (7). A hook (9) with a threaded segment on top is screwed to a knurled nut (10) from below, accommodating the retainer block between them. The hook can be engaged with a pin (15), located in a recess (13) at the floor of the vehicle in order to join the device (1) safely to the vehicle. The hook can be exchanged with a joint element of any other suitable shape for attaching the holding device to the floor of another vehicle.
