Display apparatus

Indicator device for a motor vehicle reflecting display with a lighting device (2) for illuminating the display (1) arranged in the vehicle roof (3), in the region next to it or in the windscreen. An Independent claim is made for an illumination device for use with a reflecting display, where the illumination device is placed in the car roof or windscreen so that the light beam can be directed towards the display via a reflector and lens system.
