A bicycle wheel (2) includes a wheel rim (1) and a plurality of spokes (23, 23'). The wheel rim (1) includes spaced left and right tire retaining walls (11, 11') that are interconnected by a base wall (12). Each of the tire retaining walls (11, 11') is formed with a set of spoke mounting holes (115), each of which extends through lateral outer and inner surfaces (118,114) of the tire retaining wall (11, 11'). Each spoke (23, 23') has an inner end portion (231) mounted on a hub (21), and an outer end portion (232) which includes an enlarged head (233) abutting against the lateral outer surface (118) of the respective tire retaining wall (11, 11'), an extending section (234) received in a respective spoke mounting hole (115) , and a bending section (235) disposed adjacent to the lateral inner surface (114) of the respective tire retaining wall (11, 11'). The bending section (235) is bent from the extending section (234), and extends toward the inner end portion (231) of the spoke (23, 23').
