Roller blind with means for temporarily retaining the bearings

DRIVE December 4, 2002
Source
The blind (12), moving on a tubular roller between retracted and deployed positions, has a bearing (13, 14) at each end and a spring connected to one bearing and the tube to return it to its retracted position. It has a temporary fastener to engage with the bearings and hold the roller in a set position while it is being fitted. The fastener can be made in various forms, such as a bracket (15) with ends (151, 152) turned over at right angles, a spring clip or sliding rod, a rack or loop.
