Electrical accumulator with encapsulated terminal and integrated covering cap

An electrical accumulator has a terminal pole provided with an external thread and connected to a flat cable lug of a cable connection. The terminal pole (3) is arranged in a circular recess in the cover (1) such that the terminal pole is surrounded on all sides by plastic material of the cover and is accessible only through at least one narrow slot (4) through which a flat cable connection (6a, 7a) can be inserted. A cover cap (8) is screwed onto the terminal pole (3), which is designed as insulating at least in the area accessible from above. The cover cap (8) is arranged on the cover (1) in a captive manner.
