"textContent": "The invention relates to a front hood assembly, in particular a motor hood assembly, for a passenger motor vehicle. The front hood assembly is equipped with a drawn-down lateral separation joint (5) between the front hood (2) and the fender (6), wherein the front hood has an internal inner hood (4) and an external outer hood (3). The front hood has a stiffening zone (13) which, when the front hood is closed, is supported directly or indirectly on a load-bearing body (14) of the vehicle body. The outer hood (3) has a lateral edge region (7) whose end edge (9) is adjacent to the separation joint (5), wherein at least one connecting web (12) is provided, by means of which the stiffening zone (13) is connected to the edge region (7) of the outer hood. To improve the spreading behavior in the event of a vertical person impact on the front hood, it is proposed that the stiffening zone, when the front hood is closed, is supported laterally outward on stop means (16) which are fastened to the load-bearing body (14) of the vehicle body.",
