The side portions 50 preferably include a pair of ground braking surfaces 60a with a pair of sloping surfaces 60c extending from the braking surfaces 60a to a pair of outer side surfaces 60d. A tubeless bicycle tire 26 is mounted on the rim 24 and includes a tread portion, a pair of sidewalls and a pair of beads 27c.
