"textContent": "The fuel injection device has, for each cylinder of the internal combustion engine, a fuel pump (10) which has a pump piston (18) driven by the internal combustion engine in a stroke movement, which delimits a pump working chamber (22) to which fuel is supplied from a fuel storage tank (24) and which is connected to a fuel injection valve (12) that has an injection valve member (28) by which at least one injection opening (32) is controlled and which can be moved by the pressure generated in the pump working chamber (22) against a closing force in an opening direction (29). By means of a first electrically controlled control valve (60), a connection (59) of the pump working chamber (22) with a relief chamber (24) is controlled and by means of a second electrically controlled control valve (68) the pressure prevailing in a control pressure chamber (52) of the fuel injection valve (12) is controlled, by which the injection valve member (28) is acted upon in the closing direction. A third control valve (74) is provided, by which a further connection (75) of the pump working chamber (22) with the relief chamber (24) is controlled, wherein in this connection (75) a pressure limiting valve (76) is arranged which opens toward the relief chamber (24).",
