A cursor controller (18) moves the cursor on the monitor by relying on control signals from the RSA. The cursor controller has a hyperlink-recognition device (20) for using a first link mode to detect hyperlinks shown on the monitor and for moving the cursor from one hyperlink to the next after activating the RSA. An Independent claim is also included for a method for controlling the mark-up of choices in a vehicle computer system for displaying selection menus and information with hypertext link words.
