Corner construction for a freight container
DRIVE
November 13, 2002
A freight container includes corner fittings at each of the corner extremities of the container. The corner fittings at one end of the container have exterior end faces (18T) arranged such that an outer region (19T) of each end face, which is spaced further from a longitudinal plane than an inner region (20T). As a result the overall length of the container measured at the lateral extremities of the container can be reduced.
