A mobile terminal (3) of a wireless telecommunication system is provided, the mobile terminal (2) comprising a main body (2) and a battery pack (1) connectable to said main body (2), wherein said battery pack (1) comprises at least an oscillator device (41; 51; 61; 71) providing a frequency signal and information transmission control for controlling the transmission of information from said battery pack (1) to said main body (2), whereby said information transmission control transmits a frequency information signal (F) on the basis of said frequency signal outputted from said oscillator device (41; 51; 61; 71) via at least one first physical channel to a baseband chip (42) comprised in said main body (2).
