Lamp device for vehicle

A lamp device (1) has a light source (25,26,27) and an outer lens (6). The outer lens (6) having a plurality of color areas (6c,6p) which are transparent and colored or colorless. An arrangement is made such that the light emitted by the light source (25,26,27) passes through at least two color areas (6c,6p), and the light after passing through the color areas (6c,6p) takes on one function color although the light has passed through different color areas (6c,6p).
