Method for monitoring power supply networks

The method involves a transmission device (PNU,PNC) maintaining continuous contact with at least one other transmission device. The operating state of at least one part (EVN') of the supply network (EVN) is derived from events related to the continuous contact. A central transmission device associated with distributed transmission devices regularly checks whether the distributed ones can still be reached.
