Lining for vehicles

DRIVE October 23, 2002
Source
The lining part has a flat base section (2) with at least one aperture to accommodate an insert element, e.g. a foot mat (3). The aperture is closed by an end element on the back of the base section. The mat is fitted into the aperture in such a way, that the fronts of mat and base section are aligned and the mat can be removed without damage. The base section is a formed part and the closure element is a thin-walled base plate.
