Airbag module

A gas bag module (10; 10'; 110) for a vehicle occupant restraint system, comprising a gas generator (14; 14'; 114), a gas bag (16; 16'; 116) which can be inflated by means of a pressurized gas stream (54; 54'; 154) that can be provided by the gas generator, and a housing (12; 12'; 112) which has a generator chamber (20; 20'; 120) for accommodating the gas generator and a gas bag chamber (22; 22'; 122) for accommodating the gas bag, is characterized in that a deformable partition wall with outflow openings (46; 46'; 146) is provided between the generator chamber and the gas bag chamber, which can be deformed by the pressurized gas stream from a rest state into an operating state in which it forms a guide channel (48; 48'; 148) for the pressurized gas stream (54; 54'; 154) flowing out of the gas generator.
