Device for parking vehicles
DRIVE
October 16, 2002
An entry-exit parking device for parking motor vehicles (1) in forward or rearward directed straight-ahead driving, which also enables the vehicle driver to utilize parking spaces whose narrow width does not permit lateral personal exit from the parked vehicle, solved in that the engine control is expanded by a parking logic that can be controlled remotely by the exited vehicle driver such that the vehicle positioned in front of a parking space can be maneuvered into the parking space with locked steering at a controlled maximum driving speed in forward or rearward directed straight-ahead driving, with a computer-assisted engine control.
