The mounting for a car radiator (10) comprises a block (12) which is attached to a cross-member (11) which contains a recess (15). A pin (13) on the radiator fits into this and can slide into a groove (17) connected with it and then into a second recess (16) if the radiator is subjected to a sufficiently great shock
