A gas bag module with a gas generator (12) and an elastic bearing element (14), by means of which the gas generator (12) is vibration-decoupled in the gas bag module (14), is characterized in that the elastic bearing element (14) is electrically conductive and forms part of an electrical ground line for the gas generator (12).
