Rear wheel steering apparatus

A rear wheel steering apparatus (30) for steering the rear wheels (40) of a vehicle supported on a multi-link suspension (32) including a live axle (34) and a track bar (36) pivotally connecting the axle (34) to a vehicle frame (37). Steering knuckles (38, 39) at opposite ends of the axle (34) support road wheels (40) for rotation and for steering. Steering arms (47, 49) extend from the steering knuckles (38, 39) and a drag link (50) extends between and interconnects the steering arms (47, 49). An actuator (52) is connected between the frame (37) and the drag link (50) and steers the rear road wheels (40) by alternately pushing and pulling on the drag link (50).
