Motor vehicle with two on-board networks

The system has two on-board electrical systems with different voltage levels and correspondingly two batteries (1a,20a), whereby each electrical system has an associated current distributor (1,20) and different loads (5,8,27,28,33) are associated with the current distributors. The current distributors are intelligent devices that process the input and output current and the state of charge of each system using a power management device (9).
