September 18, 2002
The casting core (1) comprises six cylinders (2,2') which form two cylinder rows (10,10') in a V-arrangement. The core supports (3,3') are formed on the ring channels (9,9') of each cylinder row, and are connected to each other by a bridge (4,4'). An axial core support (5) is formed on the main channel between the cylinder rows. The bridge is located outside the crankcase.
