GAS-GENERATING AGENT COMPOSITION

A gas generating composition having an improved thermal stability of a fuel is obtained. A gas generating composition comprising a gas generating agent containing a non-sodium azide compound fuel and an oxidizing agent, and an adsorbent. Since substances accelerating decomposition of a fuel, such as radicals and the like generated by decomposition of the fuel are adsorbed and kept on the adsorbent, further decomposition of the fuel is inhibited to increase the thermal stability.
