A motor vehicle includes a system having a pedalbox 12 in communication with a vehicle seat 16 via an adjustable floor mechanism 22 that extends therebetween. The pedalbox and seat positions are adjustable in the vertical and/or horizontal directions to accommodate occupants of differing stature. The floor 22 is continuous between the pedalbox 12 and the vehicle seat 16 and remains generally horizontal with respect to the ground irrespective of its adjusted position.
