The protective cover (100) is made of several panels or segments which conform to the contours of the bodywork. There are side panels (230) covering the doors and the external mirrors and portions covering the front and rear wheel arches (210,240). A panel (300) is fastened to the engine cover and there is a panel (220) covering the front bumper. A transparent panel (410) covers the windscreen and further transparent panels (420) cover some of the side windows.
