A textile fabric is made from synthetic cables (2) sheathed in a polymer material and incorporates in both warp and weft metal cables (3, 4) sheathed in a polymer of a different color to that of the synthetic cables. The polymer-sheathed metal cables, which are made from steel- or carbon-based strands, are spaced at regular intervals of under 80 mm.
