The present invention provides a hybrid motor comprising an engine (101) comprising a plurality of intake valves (102) and an auxiliary power plant (109) in communication with the engine (101) and a throttle valve (107) for controlling a quantity of air into the engine (101) wherein during operation by the auxiliary power plant (109) the throttle valve (107) is open and the intake valves (102) are opened by the valve control unit.
