Brake for an industrial truck

The unit has a spring-loaded parking brake released by a hydraulic or pneumatic brake release cylinder (1). This is connected via a pressure medium line (4) to a brake pressure cylinder (5) with piston. The piston is moved relative to a cylinder tube of the brake pressure cylinder by a force generated by the operator and transmitted via an actuator device. This a mechanical device, or a lever arrangement with manual lever (7) or pedal.
