Cover plate for a display system

The cover is translucent at least in some areas, at least partly covers the front of the display device and screens electromagnetic fields. It consists of or contains an intrinsically electrically conductive polymer material and has an electrical contact arrangement. The cover can have a thin intrinsically electrically conductive polymer coating that is translucent at least in some areas.
