The arrangement has a drive motor (1), first and second drives (15,27) for rear and front wheels, an adjustable hydraulic pump (5), an adjustable hydraulic motor (9) for connection to both drives and a second hydraulic motor (10) for connection to the second drive. The hydraulic motors have high levels of efficiency in different intersecting ranges of vehicle speed.
