Raised pattern blocks have narrow cuts roughly transverse to the tire circumference. Each cut is formed between two walls, one of which has a recessed area(10), the other a projecting area(10'). The cuts in both areas are formed by two narrow parallelogram-shaped surfaces(5,5'), one on each side of a trapezium-shaped surface(6,6'), the longer parallel side of which lies at the tread surface. The projecting cut area faces against the rolling direction.",
