Axle suspension for rigid axles in commercial vehicles

The suspension system for the rigid axle (1) of a coach comprises two trailing arms (3) on the same level which connect the axle to the chassis. A four-way connector (4) is mounted between the axle and air springs (5) on the ends of the trailing arms, which also carry shock absorbers (6).
