A compression spring (4) is connected at each end by articulating joints (9, 10) between the vehicle body (12) and one of the control arms (3). The compression spring (4) is connected to the control arm (3) such that the centre of rotation of the articulating joint (10) is below a line (X) joining the centres of rotation of the articulating joints (7, 8) at opposite ends of the control arm (3).",
