DRIVE
July 24, 2002
The invention relates to a device for centering a tube (3) or a component inside a hollow shaft (2) of a turbine in a turbomachine, this tube (3) or component being rotationally secured to said shaft (2) at its ends, this device comprising a sleeve (9) secured to said tube (3) and surrounding the latter, an elastic ring (20) interposed between the sleeve (9) and the shaft (2) and presenting pairs of diametrically opposed pads that extend radially outward, and means for allowing the expansion of the ring (20) after assembly of the device so that said pads bear against the internal wall of the shaft, characterized in that the pads are constituted by thin-walled (25) cylindrical and elastic walls having at rest an external diameter slightly different from the internal diameter of the hollow shaft (2) and conforming to the internal wall (21) of the shaft (2) after assembly.
