Automatic mains switch device

An automatic mains switch device (1) usable in combination with electrical appliances controlled through a remote control (5), include: a sensor (24) that the device uses to monitor the presence of load on the electric power line in manner to disconnect the load when it is no more in use, a switching unit used to disconnect the load from the mains power line and a logical control unit (23) used to control the operations of the automatic mains switch device.
