Electrical connection system for electrochemical generators
DRIVE
July 10, 2002
An electrochemical element (1) has two poles (2, 3) arranged on opposite faces; each pole has a terminal (4, 5) with at least one substantially flat protruding part (6, 7), each of the parts being shaped to lock in translation with a flat protruding part (6, 7) of the other pole of another electrochemical element. [0002] The invention ensures simple and rapid assembly of electrochemical elements; the position and shape of the terminals allow the passage of welding tools. The impedance of the assembly is low due to the large cross-sectional area of current passage and the nature of the assembly.
